Chinese rat trap

– How it works

Measuring 12" x 6" x 4" (30.5 x 15.25 x 10 cm), the trap is made of a strong steel wire frame, covered with 1/2-in. chicken wire, with a spring-loaded door, and a baited trigger.
Open the door, hook the holding pin under the bar...
... and into the top of the trigger. The bait is set on the hook at the end of the trigger inside the cage.
The trap is now set for action.
The holding pin hooked into the top of the trigger. When the rat tugs at the bait on the hook below, the trigger slides off the end of the pin...
... and the trap door springs shut.
